April Fishing
April Walleye fishing is generally jig fishing as opposed to cast fishing because of the still cold waters of Lake Erie. Also the legal limit is 4 fish per person per day in March & April. While the limit is 2 fish less during these times, the size of the average Walleye’s are much larger. In May the limit goes up to 6 Walleye’s per person per day.
