The Boats are all in the barn

Thanks to everyone of our Sea Breeze friends who fished with us this year. The boats are all in the barn for the winter. Perch fishing was great in the fall but walleye were on and off till late Oct and early Nov. The commercial minnow fisherman saw a lot of walleye fry in the fall this means we had a good hatch in the spring. Looking forward to getting the boats back in the water in March.

limit out on walleye

Perch fishing is still pretty automatic. Mice sized perch everyday. Capt. Chris took a boat limit of perch in the AM then he limited out on walleye too. Capt. Tom has done the same since my last report.

Perch fishing is GREAT!!!!!

Perch fishing is great!!!! Walleye are slow but that could change as soon as the temp cools down some. TESTAMONIAL Wanted to pass along that our charter had a GREAT time today and we have decided to come back again in the start of the new season next spring. Chris was right on top of things all day and was very helpful. We truly enjoyed our day with Sea Breeze!

ON FIRE

The walleye fishing has been up and down the last week or so. One day you think that you are going to kill em and you have a slow bite. the next day you are prepared for tough fishing and they are on fire. I guess that is fishing. We just started perch fishing and limit catches are common.

100 walleye

We just had a great time with your captains last week. There was 9 of us on 2 boats for 3 days fishing and 3 nights. We limited on both boats the first day. We brought home around 100 walleye. Everyone can't wait to come back next year. This is my 3rd year. I already may have enough guys for 4 boats next year. Thanks again,,,,,Dean

The afternoon trips have been the best the last several weeks. We took limits the last two mornings on most of my boats too. We are drifting and casting weapons tipped with night crawlers and trolling spoons rigged on divers. Bob, I just wanted to thank you for two great days of fishing this year. Captains Ron and Mike took us to the fish and we caught limits both days. I had a great time and look forward to doing it again. Regards, Art Sradeja

32.2" WALLEYE

Bob Brasen landed a 33.2" Walleye while fishing aboard Sea Breeze 4 with capt. Mike in May. It was the longest fish for the month and Bob won $100 so far. He will win $500 more if it is the big fish of the year. GOOD JOB!!!!!!

Lots of big fish

We have had an unusually cold May witch slowed the fishing down in the first half of the month. We are seeing temps in the 80's now and the walleye fishing is back to normal. We are getting some limits and lots of big fish too. The wind has been calm so many of our boats have been trolling the last few days with great success. the weather looks good for the weekend. I had one boat cancel out for the weekend so if you know anyone looking to get in on the great fishing have them call me ASAP! (877)616-7780

Best spring ever

The limit has been raised to 6 walleye per person per day as of May 1st. We are seeing lots of spawned out females now. The weather was great for a good hatch this spring. The weather man has been talking storms for the weekend and all we had was a little rain early. This is the best spring that I can remember.

Limit Catches

Fishing has been great! We missed Sat due to windy weather. That is only the 2nd day we missed this year. The wind backed of Sat. night and Sunday was back to limit catches. You can check out some weekend catches on our face book page.

25 min limit

We handled enough walleye to limit out in 25 min today. The early bite is unbelievable now. It is a 5 min boat ride to the hot spot.

50 - 100 WALLEYE

Despite cold rainy temps most Sea Breeze Boats tool limits of walleye. Capt. Mike's boat landed a 30"er. The weather was great today and most of our boats handled 50-100 walleye. The weather looks good for Sunday too.

29.5"er two days ago

We are catching limits of walleye in less than 2 hrs. Today less than 1 hr. The weather has been great! We have not seen this good of a start in a long time. Capt. Chad took a 29.5"er two days ago .All of this is only 2 miles from the marina. Hair jigs tipped with minnows are the ticket.

We have boats in the water

We have had boats in the water for 2 weeks now. At first the weather was nice and the ice was packed aginst the shoreline so we could not get out. Then a South wind took the ice away and melted it. We had 3 days of NE wind that made the water dirty. It was getting good again 2 days ago when Capt Kenny took a limit catch of walleye. Now more NE wind. Looks like the weekend is going to be nice. The forecast for the end of next week is in the 70's. That will trigger a mass feeding frenzy!!!
